So many women you feature I've never seen or heard about. I don't know if that's because I'm a Brit or just totally uneducated and not well read. Or both.
@ LL Cool Joe -- We do tend to know our own culture best, so it's not surprising you haven't heard of my Canadian picks. And apart from the world famous types, I do try to also feature the not-so-famous, obscure, or forgotten women of our world. Some of them are brand new to me too, so I'm learning as I go!
I agree it's great to learn about new people, it's just sometimes harder to know what to say about them. :D Btw I'd love you to consider including Katie Piper for your blog sometime. She is quite amazing and has redefined beauty in many ways. I was just listening to a podcast featuring her and she really is inspirational.
Master Chef winner? Impressive! I went through a period of watching cooking shows and was terrified by the intensity of some of them. Now it's just the Bake Off for me... lol
@ e -- Yeah, Bake Off is my main cooking competition "go to" now as well, both the British and the Canadian versions. Although I must admit, I like "Crime Scene Kitchen" too.
@ e -- Bakers have to figure out what dessert to make based on clues they find in a messy kitchen. Here's the promo for the first season (there have been 3 so far) -- https://youtu.be/gnv3rybSG7Q?si=3c1NTLS9reaosLbe
