DeleteMargaret Cho has always been beautiful and I hate that the Hollywood Machine damned near destroyed her. She was already well-known in comedy circles when ABC decided to capitalize on her style...by trying to change her!! 🤬 She was an "All-American Girl" of Korean parents. She looked Korean with beautiful big cheeks and to ABC that means fat and they forced her into rapid weight-loss and kidney failure!! Yes, let's tell a progressive story of a Korean-American by making her less Korean!! How very Judy Garland it all was and it is beautiful that Cho could find her way back to health and being the "Patron Saint of Outsiders." Excellent choice for this blog!! 👏👏

ReplyDeleteShe is such a strong woman! I admire her very much. She had a clothing line for a while (maybe still does?) and I bought a dress. If I recall correctly, the sizes were all named after glamorous Hollywood actresses.
