Canadian former journalist and broadcaster,
served as Governor-General of Canada (2005 to 2010),
first Haitian Canadian and black person to hold that office.

      @ Sixpence Notthewiser -- Yes, but the term can be extended. However, it usually is not renewed for more than another 5 years.
